1555 Specifics
A key advantage of a moving magnet voice coil actuator is that they are very reliable and durable. This is, in comparison to moving coil Actuators, due to the lack of moving wires. Compared to other electric actuators motors with gearboxes, they can accelerate quickly and then come to a gentle stop at a very precise point.
The voice coil actuator can support high positioning resolutions -in combination with external position sensors and motion controllers. They enable reduced system cost, control complexity and improve robustness.

MMB Motor Controller
The MMB series of Electrical Linear Actuators is designed to work seamlessly with our dedicated motor controller, enabling sensorless position control without the need for an external encoder. This innovative controller simplifies the setup, requiring only two wires for power and position control, making it exceptionally efficient. Compact and powerful, this controller can drive Moving Magnet VCAs of up to 1 kW, all within a matchbox-sized package.
