MI-F 485 Specifics

The MI-F-485 mm is a frameless PMSM motor – so, a motor without a frame, housing, bearing or feedback system – which results in the possibility to optimize the motor according to your own needs.

Our large high torque motor eliminates limitations such as backlash, cogging, and long-time drift due to very high control loop bandwidth and direct coupling. Moreover, the motor is very suitable for applications where noise needs to be reduced, as it does not use gearboxes, belts, or other transmissions.

The direct drive MI-F-485 mm assures a quiet operation, high efficiency, and longer life expectancy.

With their larger physical size, the MI-F 485 motor series offers enhanced thermal dissipation capabilities. The increased surface area and improved cooling systems enable efficient heat dissipation, allowing the motor to operate at high power levels for extended periods without overheating.

Depending on the model the Continuous torque is between 143,6Nm and 765Nm. The peak torque is between 520Nm and 1420Nm.

A frameless torque motor is a motor without a frame, housing, bearing or feedback system. As a result, system suppliers can optimize the motor according to their application. This reduces the cost of ownership.

The number of pole pairs in a direct drive motor provides important information about its construction and performance characteristics. The pole pairs refer to the number of magnetic north and south pole pairs within the motor’s rotor. Each pole pair consists of one north pole and one south pole.
